This reconditioned BMP5 gearbox is designed for the Peugeot 208 fitted with the 1.4 HDi engine (1398 cm³, engine codes 8HR and DV4C), and carries the reference 20CQ97. Reconditioning a gearbox means it is fully stripped down, cleaned and inspected component by component; gears, synchros, bearings and seals are then replaced according to the wear found, before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and given a final bench test.
