This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Renault Master fitted with the 2.5 dCi engine of 2463 cm³, compatible with engine codes G9U 720, G9U 724, G9U 750 and G9U 754, reference PF6006. A 6-speed manual gearbox built for demanding commercial use, it is fully reconditioned to a rigorous standard before dispatch to restore performance in line with the original specification.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Master used as a commercial vehicle, several warning signs point to a worn manual gearbox: crunching or grinding when changing gear, a gear jumping out on its own while driving, difficulty engaging reverse or first gear from cold, unusual vibrations in neutral, or an oil leak visible beneath the vehicle. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring reliable performance once fitted.

Exchange Basis – Delivered Before the Old Unit Is Returned

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the old unit is not collected before delivery. The reconditioned gearbox is sent out first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road unnecessarily. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
