This reconditioned gearbox for the Renault Scénic 1.2 TCe (1197 cm³) carries reference TL4072 and is compatible with vehicles fitted with the H5F400 and H5F408 engines. Before being offered for sale, it is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component: any gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are systematically replaced. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to ensure reliable performance from the moment the TL4072 is fitted.

Signs That Your Manual Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Scénic 1.2 TCe, several warning signs can appear before the 6-speed manual gearbox fails completely:

• stiff, crunching or incomplete gear changes;
• gear lever juddering or vibrating in neutral;
