This 6-speed manual gearbox for the Renault Scénic 1.5 dCi, reference TL4077, is fully reconditioned before being sold on an exchange basis. Compatible with the K9K engine of 1461 cm³, this gearbox fits the Scénic and its close variants. Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the TL4077 gearbox, followed by thorough cleaning and a detailed inspection of every component. Wear parts are systematically replaced: gears, synchros, bearings and seals are all inspected and changed where necessary. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to confirm correct operation before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Renault Scénic fitted with the TL4077 gearbox, several warning signs should not be ignored: difficulty selecting gears or crunching on changes, juddering when engaging a gear, unusual noise in neutral or while driving, or a refusal to engage a particular gear. Exchange Basis – No Waiting Around

With our exchange range, the old unit is not collected before delivery. The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned TL4077 has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This Renault Scénic gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over up to 10 instalments.
