This reconditioned gearbox for the Renault Twingo fitted with the 0.9 TCe engine (engine code H4B, 898 cm³) is referenced JE3003 and is suitable for versions equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is fully stripped down, cleaned and inspected part by part before reassembly. Internal wear components (gears, synchros, bearings and seals) are replaced as required, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Twingo 0.9 TCe, several warning signs point to a worn gearbox: stiff or grinding gear changes, difficulty finding neutral, crunching under acceleration, vibrations through the gear lever, or visible oil leaks beneath the casing. The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not left off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
