This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the SEAT Ibiza fitted with the 1.4 TSI petrol engine (1390 cm³), compatible with engine codes CAVE, CTHE and CTJC, under reference PMP. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted; return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this DSG 7 gearbox reference PMP.
