Reconditioned Volkswagen Crafter 2.0 TDI Gearbox – Reference RHE

This reconditioned gearbox for the Volkswagen Crafter 2.0 TDI, reference RHE, is compatible with vehicles fitted with the CKTB, CKTC or CSLB engines (1968 cm³). Every 6-speed manual gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component; gears, synchros, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are replaced, before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

On a Crafter used for commercial work, several warning signs point to a worn gearbox: stiff or noisy gear changes, crunching on downshifts, juddering when engaging 5th or 6th gear, vibrations through the gear lever, or an oil leak at the casing. Heavy-load use often accelerates the onset of these symptoms.

With this gearbox rebuilt to 0 km, the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, so your garage is not left standing idle. Once the new unit has been fitted, the old gearbox must then be returned; return of the old unit is required under our Terms and Conditions, and completes the exchange process.
