Every MLD gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before reassembly. Gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced as required, then the gearbox is rebuilt to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included in the sale.

Under this exchange arrangement, the old unit is not collected before delivery. The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first so that the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the MLD gearbox; return of the old unit is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread across up to 10 instalments.
