This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox for the Volkswagen Scirocco 1.4 TSI, with a 1390 cm³ engine (engine codes CAXA, CAVD), is supplied under reference MLD. Reconditioning follows a precise process: complete strip-down of the gearbox, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, then reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench-testing prior to dispatch. The dual-clutch assembly is among the components inspected and supplied with this MLD reference.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.

The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after delivery and fitting of the new unit, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This gearbox is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
