This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Golf 1.9 TDI (1896 cm³), fitted with the BKC, BLS, BXE, ATD, AXR or ASZ engines, and corresponds to reference LKL. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of any worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing.

Signs That This DSG 7 Gearbox Needs Replacing

Exchange Basis – Delivered Before the Old Unit Is Returned

This reconditioned gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: the reconditioned unit is delivered first, before the old unit is collected. The original gearbox is only collected once the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is never off the road unnecessarily. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original mechatronic unit should be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this LKL reference gearbox.

Warranty and Payment
