The reconditioning follows a rigorous process: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component; the gears, synchros, bearings and seals most subject to wear are replaced; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The old gearbox, intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted; its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and it remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox, reference KPV.
