This DSG 7 gearbox, reference PZV, is reconditioned for the Volkswagen Jetta 1.4 TSI Hybride, fitted with the CNLA engine of 1395 cm³: it is restored to smooth, precise gear changes in line with its original performance. The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and in-depth inspection of every component, followed by replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs that your DSG 7 gearbox needs replacing

• Jolts or juddering during gear changes, especially when cold
• Slipping felt between gears
• Automatic gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard
• Unusual noises or vibrations when engaging a gear
• Loss of power or limp mode reported by the ECU

This gearbox is supplied without the mechatronic unit; the dual-clutch, however, is supplied new: the reconditioning service does not include the mechatronic unit, and your gearbox is returned to you with a brand-new dual-clutch. The mechatronic unit therefore remains the original one from your vehicle — it is neither reconditioned nor tested as part of this service.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
