Reconditioned DSG 7 Gearbox for Volkswagen Jetta 1.6 TDI – Reference LQN
This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Jetta models fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine of 1598 cm³, corresponding to engine codes CAYC and CAYB, and carries the reference LQN. This automated dual-clutch gearbox transfers power from the diesel engine to the front wheels and handles gear changes without any input from the driver. Reconditioning of this LQN gearbox includes a full strip-down, thorough cleaning and an in-depth inspection of every component. Internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are systematically replaced according to their condition. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. A brand-new dual clutch is supplied with this gearbox.
Signs That Your DSG 7 Gearbox Needs Replacing
On a Jetta 1.6 TDI fitted with this dual-clutch transmission, the following warning signs should not be ignored:
- Jerky or jolting gear changes at low speed
- Vibrations or shuddering felt during gear changes
- Gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard
- Abnormal noises or grinding whilst driving
- Loss of power, slipping gears or delayed gear changes
Exchange Basis – Gearbox Rebuilt to 0 km
