This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox fits the Volkswagen Passat 1.6 TDI with a 1598 cm³ engine, compatible with engine codes CAYC and CXXB, reference REV. Each unit is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before worn internal components are replaced: gears, synchros, bearings and seals are renewed as required, then the gearbox is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to ensure correct operation.

The old gearbox – casing and block intact – is only collected after delivery and installation: the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is never off the road. Return of the old unit is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit, which is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied brand new – it is not a reused or simply inspected part.
