The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the 5-speed manual gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch.
