This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Polo models fitted with the 2.0 TSI engine of 1984 cm³, covering engine codes DKZ, CZPB and DGVA. It carries the reference TLV and replaces a dual-clutch automatic gearbox worn out by repeated juddering or slipping.

Signs That Your DSG Gearbox Needs Replacing

On a Polo 2.0 TSI fitted with the DSG 6, several warning signs point to advanced gearbox wear:

• juddering or jolting during gear changes
• slipping felt under acceleration without a corresponding rise in engine speed

Reconditioning and Exchange

Every TLV gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. Gears, synchromesh rings, bearings and seals are replaced as required, and the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before bench testing. A new dual-clutch assembly is supplied with this gearbox.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer.

Deferred Exchange

The reconditioned gearbox reference TLV is delivered before the old unit is collected, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and Payment

This TLV gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
