This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for Volkswagen Scirocco models fitted with the 1.4 TSI engine (engine codes CAXA, CAVD) and carries the reference LWW. Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested – the vehicle's original unit must be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this gearbox.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
