This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is available for the Volkswagen Scirocco 1.4 TSI, fitted with the CAXA and CAVD engines of 1390 cm³, under reference MGM. This dual-clutch gearbox is found across a wide range of Volkswagen Group models and is characterised by its automated operation, which is more demanding than that of a conventional manual gearbox.

The reconditioning of this gearbox follows a thorough process: it is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component; internal wear parts – including gears, synchros, bearings and seals – are replaced according to their condition; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. Exchange Basis: Your Workshop Is Never Left Standing

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is rebuilt to 0 km and dispatched before the old unit is collected. The original casing, kept intact, is only recovered after the reconditioned gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the workshop is never left without a unit. This arrangement allows the trade customer to carry on working without waiting for the old gearbox to be returned. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
