Reconditioned DSG 7 Gearbox for Volkswagen Transporter 1.4 TSI

This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Transporter fitted with the 1.4 TSI engine (1395 cm³ capacity, engine code CJKB), under reference UAF. It is aimed at vehicles whose transmission is showing signs of wear, restoring reliable performance without resorting to an uncertain second-hand unit.

Gearbox reconditioning

This DSG 7 gearbox, reference UAF, is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected before reassembly. The gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, and the unit is then rebuilt to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The dual-clutch assembly is included with this gearbox.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.

Exchange basis: immediate dispatch, deferred return of the old gearbox

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox reference UAF is dispatched before the old unit is collected. The garage is therefore never left without a part, and the vehicle is not kept off the road waiting. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, must however be returned after delivery and fitting of the new gearbox, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This DSG 7 gearbox is compatible with 1.4 TSI engines bearing engine code CJKB on the Volkswagen Transporter.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
