Fitting advice to protect your turbo
Before fitting this turbo to your Volvo V50, make sure to check the oil circuit (feed and return hoses), the condition of the air intake, the air filter and the intercooler — all of which are frequently responsible for premature turbo failure. Using a quality engine oil, changed in line with manufacturer recommendations, reduces the risk of fouling and overheating.
