This new turbo is compatible with reference 53039887005 and is designed for the 2.0 TDI 136 and 140 hp engines fitted to the Volkswagen Touran, associated in particular with engine codes AZV, BKD, BKP, BMA and BVE. Before placing an order, please check the reference on the label of your original turbo to confirm exact compatibility with your vehicle.
Exchange basis and warranty for your Touran
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Touran is never left off the road. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting on your 2.0 TDI
On these engines, premature turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication due to incorrect oil grade or missed oil changes, a clogged air filter, or a cracked intercooler allowing contaminants through. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting the engine for the first time, make sure the turbo is primed with oil to avoid running dry on initial start-up. Driving gently, particularly during the first few kilometres, will help maximise the lifespan of the new part.
