This turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with the Terms and Conditions, the old turbocharger must be returned after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that your Fiat Tipo is not left off the road during the process. The new turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting the turbo to your Tipo
On the 1.6 MultiJet, the leading cause of premature failure is inadequate lubrication: oil that does not meet manufacturer specifications, oil changes carried out beyond the recommended intervals, or a clogged oil filter. A blocked air filter or a cracked intercooler can also disrupt turbo operation and accelerate wear.
