This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Ford Tourneo is not left off the road during the exchange. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting on the 2.2 TDCi
On the Tourneo's 2.2 TDCi engine, premature turbo failure is often caused by insufficient lubrication, poor-quality engine oil or missed oil changes, as well as a clogged air filter or a faulty intercooler. Driving aggressively from a cold start also accelerates wear. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake. On first start-up, prime the oil circuit before starting the engine to ensure the new turbo is lubricated immediately and to maximise its service life.
