This new turbo is compatible with reference 810358-5005S, fitted to the Mazda 6 (GJ, GL) equipped with the 2.2 D Diesel engine of 2191 cm³, producing 150 hp or 175 hp depending on the version, with engine codes SHY1, SHY4, SHY6 and SHY8. Before placing an order, it is strongly recommended that you check the reference printed on the old turbo or on the vehicle's identification plate, as several variants exist depending on whether the unit is the high-pressure or low-pressure stage of the twin-turbo system.

This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that the Mazda 6 is not left off the road. This new turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, provided fitting is carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting on the SHY engine
On 2.2 D twin-turbo engines, premature failure is most commonly caused by a lubrication fault, unsuitable or overdue engine oil, a clogged air filter, or a leak at the intercooler. Before fitting, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting the engine for the first time, priming the turbo with oil is essential to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings and to maximise the service life of the unit.
