A new turbo built for the demanding use of the Mitsubishi L200
The Mitsubishi L200 is a pick-up used for daily professional journeys as much as for towing heavy loads or off-road driving. These repeated demands, combined with a turbocharged diesel engine, put the turbocharger under considerable strain: frequent pressure spikes, towed loads, and idling phases after sustained effort. This new turbo, compatible with reference VT12 (1515A026), is offered to meet this kind of intensive use on the Mitsubishi L200.
Compatibility with the L200 3.2 DI-D engine
This new turbo is compatible with Mitsubishi L200 vehicles fitted with the 3.2 DI-D diesel engine, associated with engine code 4M41. Before placing an order, it is recommended that you check the reference on the old turbo or in the vehicle's technical documentation, as certain engine variants may differ depending on the version.

Exchange basis and warranty for this L200 turbo
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so that the pick-up remains operational during the work. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be made in instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before fitting on an L200 3.2 DI-D
On this type of turbocharged diesel engine, turbo failure most commonly results from a lubrication fault caused by unsuitable oil, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter allowing impurities through. A damaged intercooler or driving too hard immediately after a long loaded journey can also accelerate wear. Before fitting the new turbo, it is advisable to check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses, and the cleanliness of the air intake. When starting up, it is recommended to prime the turbo with oil to ensure immediate lubrication of the bearings on start-up.
