This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of the old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, and it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your BMW X3 is never left off the road. The part is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

On the N47D20C and B47D20A engines, turbo service life depends heavily on the quality and frequency of oil changes, as degraded oil or a clogged filter accelerates bearing wear. Before fitting the new turbo, also check the condition of the air hoses, the intercooler and the air intake, and inspect the oil circuit and lubrication lines for any blockages. Finally, prime the turbo with oil before the first start to ensure immediate bearing lubrication and prevent early damage to the new unit.
