Fitting advice for your Nemo 1.4 HDi turbo
Before fitting the turbo, carefully check the oil circuit: insufficient lubrication or oil of an unsuitable grade is one of the leading causes of premature failure on this type of small turbocharger. Also check the condition of the intake hoses and air intake, as well as the cleanliness of the air filter and intercooler, to prevent any particles from entering the turbine. After fitting, prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure the bearings are immediately lubricated and to avoid any dry running.
