Restore the full performance of your Opel Corsa C every day
Whether your Opel Corsa C is used in town or on the open road, a turbo in good condition makes an immediate difference behind the wheel: throttle response becomes crisp again, the engine picks up without hesitation and fuel consumption stays under control. Conversely, a worn turbo shows itself through a gradual loss of power, exhaust smoke or an unusual whistling noise. This new turbo, compatible with reference 49173-06503, is designed to restore your Corsa C to its original performance.
Compatibility with Opel Corsa C engines
This new turbo is compatible with the 1.7 DI 65 CV and 1.7 DTI 75 CV engines (1686 cm³, Diesel) fitted to the Corsa C, associated with engine codes Y 17 DT, Y 17 DTL and Z 17 DTL. Before placing an order, we recommend checking the reference printed on the label of your old turbo as well as the engine code shown on the manufacturer's plate, to ensure perfect compatibility with your vehicle.
Exchange and warranty
This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required. It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Corsa C is not left off the road. The part comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On these 1.7 DI/DTI engines, turbo failure is most commonly caused by a lubrication fault linked to poor-quality engine oil, missed oil changes, or a clogged air filter allowing impurities to reach the compressor. A damaged intercooler or driving too hard before the engine has reached operating temperature can also accelerate wear.
- Check the oil circuit (pressure, cleanliness, pipework) before fitting
- Inspect the condition of the hoses and air intake to rule out any leaks or ingress of particles
- Prime the turbo with oil before the first start-up to ensure immediate lubrication
