It is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Avantime is not left off the road during the process. This turbo carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and during fitting on the 2.2 dCi
On this engine, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by inadequate lubrication, poor-quality engine oil or missed oil changes, as well as a clogged air filter or a damaged intercooler allowing contaminants through. Before fitting, carefully inspect the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake to prevent any contamination of the new turbo. When starting up for the first time, it is recommended to prime the oil circuit before the initial start, ensuring immediate lubrication of the bearings and prolonging the life of the part.
