This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: return of your old turbo is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your Clio III is not left off the road. This turbo comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
Advice before and after fitting
On the 1.2 16V TCe engine, premature turbo failure is most commonly caused by insufficient lubrication — whether due to an unsuitable oil grade, oil changes left too long, or a clogged air filter allowing contaminants to reach the turbine. Before fitting this new turbo, check the oil circuit, the condition of the hoses and the cleanliness of the air intake to prevent early contamination. When starting the engine for the first time, prime the turbo with oil to ensure immediate lubrication from the very first start, and avoid putting the engine under hard load during the first few kilometres.
