This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of the old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted, so your SEAT Ibiza is not left off the road unnecessarily. It comes with a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments, to help manage your budget.
Fitting advice for the turbo on your Ibiza 1.9 TDI
Before fitting this new turbo to the BPX or BUK engine, carefully check the oil circuit: ensure the feed and return hoses are clean and unobstructed, that oil pressure is correct, and that good-quality engine oil of the appropriate grade has been changed recently. Also check the condition of the air filter, intercooler and intake pipes, as any blockage or air leak can accelerate wear on the new turbocharger. On first start-up, prime the oil circuit before starting the engine, then drive gently for the first few kilometres to maximise the longevity of the part.
