This new turbo is sold on an exchange basis: in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, return of your old turbo is required, but it is only collected after the new turbo has been delivered and fitted to your Jetta, so your vehicle is never left off the road unnecessarily. The part carries a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.

On the 1.8 TSI engine, turbo longevity depends heavily on oil quality and adherence to engine oil change intervals, as well as the condition of the air filter and intercooler. Before fitting the new turbo, check the oil circuit (feed and return hoses) and ensure there are no air intake leaks, then pre-lubricate the turbo with oil before the first start-up to guarantee immediate bearing lubrication.
