Reconditioned Audi A3 1.6 TDI S tronic 7 Gearbox – Reference NTT
This reconditioned gearbox for the Audi A3 1.6 TDI S tronic 7 is supplied under reference NTT, compatible with engine codes CAYC, CLHA and CRKB for an engine capacity of 1598 cm³. Full reconditioning includes complete strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, and replacement of all internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. The dual-clutch is supplied new with this NTT reference, whilst the mechatronic unit falls outside the scope of this sale: this gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit, which is neither supplied nor included in the sale, is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.
Signs That Your S tronic 7 Gearbox Needs Replacing
On an Audi A3 1.6 TDI fitted with the S tronic 7, several warning signs point to a worn gearbox: juddering or jolting during gear changes, slipping felt on pull-away or acceleration, harsh or delayed gear shifts, the gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard, an alert message indicating a fault, unusual noise from the dual-clutch, or a loss of power with no apparent engine cause. These symptoms generally indicate internal wear or a mechanical fault that a full reconditioning can rectify.
Exchange Basis: Keeping You on the Road
This gearbox is part of our exchange range: the reconditioned unit is dispatched first, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is off the road for as short a time as possible. The old gearbox, with its casing or block intact, is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Compatibility
This S tronic 7 gearbox, reference NTT, fits Audi A3 1.6 TDI models with engine codes CAYC, CLHA or CRKB. Precise compatibility according to vehicle variant is confirmed at the quote stage.
Warranty and Payment
This reconditioned gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
EDEN BOITES is with you every step of the way, from quote through to collection of the old unit.
