The reconditioning of this S tronic 7 gearbox follows a thorough process: complete strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing prior to dispatch.

The dual-clutch assembly is included with this reference LSS. However, this gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is neither reconditioned nor tested — it remains the vehicle's original unit and must be reused by the customer.
