Reconditioned DSG 6 Gearbox Audi A3 2.0 TDI – Reference LQV
This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for the Audi A3 2.0 TDI fitted with a 1968 cm³ engine, compatible with engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CBBB, CRBC, CRFC, reference LQV. It is intended for vehicles whose transmission is showing signs of failure and requires a reliable, fully documented repair that meets manufacturer specifications.
Signs That Your DSG 6 Gearbox Needs Replacing
- juddering or jerking during gear changes
- clutch slipping or slipping under acceleration
- gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard
- unusual noises, whistling or clunking while driving
- delayed, jerky or impossible gear changes
- pronounced juddering when cold at start-up
Gearbox Reconditioning
Every reconditioned gearbox undergoes a full strip-down, followed by thorough cleaning and meticulous inspection of each component. Internal wear parts — pinions, synchros, bearings and seals — are replaced as standard. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance that meets original specifications.
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit; the dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new. The mechatronic unit is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during fitting.
Exchange Basis: No Unnecessary Downtime
The exchange arrangement means you receive the reconditioned LQV gearbox before returning the old unit. The garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not kept off the road unnecessarily. The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Its return is required in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
Compatibility
This DSG 6 gearbox reference LQV is suitable for the Audi A3 2.0 TDI fitted with engine codes BKD, AZV, BMM, BMN, CBAB, CFFB, CFGB, CBBB, CRBC and CRFC, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³.

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
