This reconditioned ETG6 gearbox is designed for the Citroën Berlingo fitted with the 1.6 HDi engine (1560 cm³), compatible with engine codes 9HX, 9HZ, 9HW, 9HP and 9HF, under reference 20ET56. This automated gearbox is fitted to a wide range of Berlingo light commercial vehicles, and wear is concentrated on its internal mechanical components. Reconditioning follows a thorough process: the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; worn internal parts (gears, synchros, bearings and seals) are replaced as required; it is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. Reference 20ET56 ensures strict compatibility with the original vehicle specification.

This gearbox is sold without the actuator unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and it remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. This electronic component is not inspected or replaced as part of this sale.

Exchange basis: delivery without vehicle downtime

This reconditioned gearbox is sold on an exchange basis. It is dispatched before the old unit is collected: the garage receives the reconditioned gearbox first, avoiding the need to keep the vehicle on the ramp. The old gearbox – casing or complete unit – is only collected after the reconditioned part has been delivered and fitted. This approach minimises workshop time on the Berlingo. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting by a qualified professional. This warranty covers the reconditioned gearbox itself, excluding the original actuator unit. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
