Reconditioned Citroën C2 1.4 HDi Gearbox 20CN49

This reconditioned SensoDrive gearbox is available for the Citroën C2 fitted with the 1.4 HDi engine (1398 cm³), compatible with engine codes 8HX and 8HZ, reference 20CN49. The SensoDrive system is an automated manual gearbox that manages clutch engagement and gear selection automatically, with no clutch pedal for the driver to operate. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and careful inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs that your SensoDrive automated gearbox needs replacing

On a C2 1.4 HDi, several warning signs point to advanced wear of the SensoDrive gearbox's internal mechanism: jerky or unusually slow gear changes, pronounced jolts when a gear engages, a gearbox warning light on the dashboard, inability to select reverse or a particular gear, an unusual grinding noise during gear changes, or excessive delay between successive gear shifts. A loss of drive under acceleration may also occur.

Rebuild of your own unit, ready to fit

With this service, you send in your own gearbox, reference 20CN49: the internal mechanism is fully rebuilt, bench-tested and reassembled to manufacturer tolerances, then the unit is returned to you ready to fit to your Citroën C2. This gearbox is rebuilt without the SensoDrive actuator: the service does not include the actuator, which is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer during reassembly.

Compatibility
