This reconditioned gearbox is designed for Citroën C2 models fitted with the 1.4 HDi engine of 1398 cm³, covering engine codes 8HX and 8HZ, under reference 20CQ02. The unit is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; gears, synchros, bearings and internal seals are replaced according to the wear found, before the assembly is rebuilt to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested prior to dispatch.

Signs that this SensoDrive gearbox needs replacing

On a C2 fitted with the SensoDrive automated manual gearbox, the following symptoms should raise concern:

• jerky or delayed gear changes
• juddering on acceleration or during gear shifts
• gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard
• abnormal noise or vibrations in neutral
• inability to engage certain gears

This gearbox is sold without the SensoDrive actuator

This gearbox is sold without the actuator: the SensoDrive unit is not supplied or included in the sale of reference 20CQ02. It is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original actuator, to be refitted by the customer onto the reconditioned gearbox.

Exchange basis: delivery before return of the old unit

This reconditioned gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is dispatched before the old unit is collected. The original casing or block, intact, is only taken back after the new gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
