This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Mitsubishi L200 fitted with the 2.5 DI-D engine of 2477 cm³, compatible with engine codes 4D56 and 4D56T, under reference ME580809. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the unit, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch.

Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing

Exchange Basis – Delivered Before Your Old Unit Is Returned

This reconditioned gearbox is delivered first, before any return of the old unit is required. The original casing or block, provided it is intact, is only collected after the ME580809 gearbox has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is never off the road. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the transfer case: the transfer case is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and the vehicle's original unit should be reused by the customer.
