Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of internal wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and a bench test.

This gearbox is sold without the transfer case: the transfer case is not included, is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.
