The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring performance that meets the vehicle's original specifications.

Exchange basis: delivery before return

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox is delivered and fitted before the old unit is collected. The garage is therefore never left without a part, and the vehicle is not off the road waiting for a return. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, must be returned after delivery and fitting of the reconditioned unit; this return is mandatory in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
