This reconditioned gearbox is designed for the Renault Master fitted with the 2.3 dCi engine (2298 cm³), compatible with engine codes M9T 670, M9T 680, M9T 700, M9T 702, M9T 706, M9T 710 and M9T 716, under reference PF6020. A 6-speed manual unit, it is fully reconditioned to near-new performance and is ready to be fitted to your van.
Signs That Your Gearbox Needs Replacing
On a Master used daily for deliveries or on site, several warning signs should not be ignored:
- stiff or resistant gear changes, particularly on the lower ratios;
- crunching or grinding when changing down, especially when cold;
- unexpected gear jumps under load, when the vehicle is laden or towing;
- a dull rumbling noise that worsens with speed;
- gearbox oil leaks visible beneath the vehicle or around the casing.
Reconditioning of the PF6020 Gearbox
Every PF6020 gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected component by component. Any gears, synchromesh rings, bearings and seals showing signs of wear are systematically replaced. The unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, ensuring it performs to specification.
Exchange Basis and Delivery
This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis: it is rebuilt to 0 km and dispatched first, without waiting for your old gearbox to be returned. Your garage is therefore never left without a vehicle, and the axle remains available. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
