This reconditioned gearbox for the Renault Trafic 2.0 dCi (1995 cm³), compatible with engines M9R692, M9R780 and M9R782, carries reference PAO016. Reconditioning follows a thorough process: complete strip-down, cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of gears, synchros, bearings and seals as required by wear found, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing before dispatch.

Signs that your gearbox needs replacing

On a Trafic 2.0 dCi fitted with the Quickshift automated unit, several warning signs point to a worn gearbox: slow or jerky gear changes, judder from the automated clutch, difficulty engaging neutral, grinding noises while driving, or a gearbox warning light on the dashboard. These symptoms generally indicate internal wear of the gears or synchros, and are unrelated to the Quickshift actuator itself.

Exchange basis – no need to leave your vehicle off the road

The reconditioned PAO016 gearbox is dispatched before your old unit is collected: the garage receives the ready-to-fit part first, avoiding any unnecessary downtime. Your old gearbox – casing and block intact – is only collected after the EDEN BOITES unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the Quickshift actuator: the actuator is neither supplied nor included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and your Trafic's original unit should be reused during fitting.
