This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the SEAT Leon fitted with the 1.4 TSI engine (1390 cm³), compatible with engine codes CAXC and CZCA, reference QHV. The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. This process ensures the QHV gearbox is restored to near-original performance before being fitted to your vehicle.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither supplied nor included in the sale, is not reconditioned or tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included and reconditioned as part of the complete QHV gearbox overhaul.

The old gearbox — casing or block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted, meaning the garage is never left without a part and the vehicle is not left immobilised on the ramp. This arrangement minimises downtime during the repair, whilst complying with our Terms and Conditions. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
