This DSG 6 gearbox for the Skoda Yeti 2.0 TDI, reference PQT, is fully reconditioned before being offered on an exchange basis. The reconditioning process involves a complete strip-down of the gearbox, followed by thorough cleaning and careful inspection of every internal component. Wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are then systematically replaced. The gearbox is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested to confirm correct operation before dispatch.

Signs that your DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing

On a Skoda Yeti fitted with this dual-clutch transmission, several warning signs should alert the driver:

• juddering or jerking during gear changes
• hesitation or delay when shifting from one gear to another
• automatic gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard

Exchange basis: your garage never has to stop work

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first so that the vehicle is not left off the road. The old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only collected after the new unit has been delivered and fitted; its return is nonetheless required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. This process allows the garage to carry on working without waiting for the old unit to be collected.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is neither reconditioned nor tested and remains the vehicle's original unit; it is therefore not supplied or included in the sale. The new dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with the reconditioned gearbox.

Warranty and payment

This gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
