Reconditioned DSG 6 Gearbox – Volkswagen Passat 2.0 TDI – Reference HFQ
This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for owners of a Volkswagen Passat fitted with a 2.0 TDI engine, with an engine capacity of 1968 cm³, covering engine codes BKP, CBAB, CFFB and CFGB. It is supplied under reference HFQ. Reconditioning follows a rigorous process: full strip-down of the mechanism, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, replacement of worn gears, synchros, bearings and seals, followed by reassembly to manufacturer tolerances and bench testing before final sign-off.
Signs that your DSG 6 gearbox needs replacing
On a Passat 2.0 TDI fitted with a dual-clutch gearbox, the following symptoms should raise concern:
- Jerking or pronounced juddering during gear changes
- Slipping felt under acceleration without a corresponding rise in engine revs
- Automatic gearbox warning light illuminated on the dashboard
- Limp-home mode engaged with a significant loss of power
- Unusual vibrations or noise at low speed, particularly at idle
- Delay or marked jolt when shifting from first to second gear
Exchange basis: your garage is never left without a part
This HFQ gearbox is sold on an exchange basis. The reconditioned gearbox is dispatched first, so your workshop ramp is never left standing idle. The old unit is not collected before delivery: the old gearbox, with its casing intact, is only recovered once the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.
This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: this component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this HFQ reference gearbox.
Compatibility
This DSG 6 gearbox, reference HFQ, is compatible with Volkswagen Passat models fitted with a 2.0 TDI engine bearing one of the following engine codes: BKP, CBAB, CFFB or CFGB.
Warranty and payment
This reconditioned gearbox comes with a 24-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over several instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
EDEN BOITES is with you every step of the way, from your initial quote through to collection of the old unit.
