This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Polo 1.4 TDI, with a 1422 cm³ engine capacity, and carries the reference QJA. Reconditioning involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, and replacement of all internal wear parts including gears, synchros, bearings and seals; the unit is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch. Exchange basis: your reconditioned gearbox delivered without delay

Under this exchange arrangement, the reconditioned QJA gearbox is dispatched to your workshop first; the old unit is not collected before delivery. The old gearbox — casing and block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted, so the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road unnecessarily. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Exclusion: the mechatronic unit is not supplied

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox.

Warranty and payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 24-month parts warranty, valid subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment for your order can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
