This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Polo fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine of 1598 cm³, compatible with engine codes CAYB and CAYC; it is available under reference MLM. As a reconditioned unit, the gearbox is fully stripped, cleaned and inspected; internal wear components – gears, synchros, bearings and seals – are replaced as required, before being reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and tested on a bench.

The reconditioned unit is dispatched before the old unit is collected: your garage receives the gearbox, fits it, and only once it has been delivered and installed is the old gearbox – casing and block intact – returned. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. This gearbox is sold with a new dual-clutch, but without the mechatronic unit: this electronic component is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer.

Warranty and Payment

This reconditioned gearbox is covered by a 12-month parts warranty, subject to fitting being carried out by a qualified professional. Payment can be spread over multiple instalments, in up to 10 instalments.
