This reconditioned DSG 7 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Polo fitted with the 1.6 TDI engine of 1598 cm³, compatible with engine codes CAYB and CAYC, under reference NBC. Reconditioning involves a complete strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and an in-depth inspection of every component. Wear parts such as gears, synchros, bearings and seals are replaced, then the gearbox is reassembled to manufacturer tolerances before being tested on a bench.

Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is neither supplied nor included in the sale, is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is supplied new with this NBC gearbox.
