This reconditioned DSG 6 gearbox is designed for the Volkswagen Scirocco 2.0 TDI fitted with the CFHB or CBBB engine (1968 cm³), under reference QYX. The reconditioning process involves a full strip-down of the gearbox, thorough cleaning and inspection of every component, followed by replacement of all internal wear parts: gears, synchros, bearings and seals. The gearbox is then reassembled to manufacturer tolerances and bench-tested before dispatch, always under reference QYX.

Signs That Your DSG 6 Gearbox Needs Replacing

This gearbox is sold on an exchange basis, rebuilt to 0 km. It is delivered before the old unit is collected: the garage is never left without a gearbox and the vehicle is not off the road waiting. The old gearbox — casing or block intact — is only collected after the reconditioned unit has been delivered and fitted. Return of the old unit is required, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

This gearbox is sold without the mechatronic unit: it is not supplied or included in the sale, it is neither reconditioned nor tested, and remains the vehicle's original unit, to be reused by the customer. The dual-clutch assembly, however, is included with this reference QYX.
